How do deposits and the remaining balance work?
You choose what share of the price guests pay online when they book, from 30% to 100%. If it's less than 100%, you also choose when the rest is due, and you collect it from the guest yourself (or ask us to). Set both in your retreat's Booking conditions section.

How is my retreat's price worked out?
Your retreat doesn't have one price of its own. Guests pick a room, and the price is that room's price per night times the number of nights. If the room is priced for Each person, it's also times the number of guests. Special prices you set on the calendar replace the normal price on those nights, and a discount comes off the total.

How do I use one property for several retreats?
Choose the same property in each retreat's Property section. The retreats then share its rooms: a room booked for one retreat isn't free for another on the same nights.

Can one guest book a double room alone?
Yes, unless you stop it. To make a room for two or more guests only, set its Minimum Occupancy to 2. A solo guest then can't book it. There's no extra charge for solo guests (a "single supplement"); to charge a solo guest more, price the room per room instead of per person.

What do room type, sharing and occupancy mean?
Room Type describes the beds. Sharing says whether a booking gets the room to itself. Maximum Occupancy caps how many guests one booking can bring, and Minimum Occupancy sets the fewest.

How do I set up a discount on my retreats?
Go to Your business → Discounts and press Create discount. Choose Early bird (for guests who book well ahead) or Limited-time offer (for bookings made between two dates). Then set the amount, when it applies and which retreats it covers. Discounts apply automatically; guests don't enter a code.

Each room has one standard price per night. Change it on the room's Details tab, or on the calendar under Pricing. Guests pay it for every night without a special price.

How do I add a property?
A property is the place guests stay, such as a villa or retreat centre. Go to Your business → Properties, press Add Property, give it a name, type and category, then add a description, facilities and at least one photo, and publish it. Then add its rooms.

How do I charge a different price on some dates?
On your calendar, select the nights in the room's row. In the column on the right, press the price under Price per night, type the new price and press Save. Those nights now show the special price in bold. Guests pay it for those nights instead of the room's normal price.

How do I add a room to my property?
On the Properties page, press Create Room on your property. Fill in the room's details and price, press Next, add photos, press Next, choose whether guests can book it instantly or must ask first, and press Create Room.
