What a strong hero photo does
Shows the actual venue or activity (not stock).
Suggests the feeling of the retreat — calm, vibrant, intimate, expansive.
Includes a human element where natural — a person practicing, eating, walking.
Has clear focal point and good light.
What to avoid
Generic beach or mountain shots that could be anywhere.
Crowded shots with no clear subject.
Heavy filters or stylised colour grading.
Text overlays.
