Can one guest book a double room alone?

Yes, unless you stop it. To make a room for two or more guests only, set its Minimum Occupancy to 2. A solo guest then can't book it. There's no extra charge for solo guests (a "single supplement"); to charge a solo guest more, price the room per room instead of per person.

For retreat hosts. Set on the room: Your business → Properties → Edit on the room.

Stop solo bookings on a room

Go to Your business → Properties and press Edit on the room.
On the Details tab, set Minimum Occupancy to 2 (or more).
Press Save Changes.

What guests see

A guest who picks fewer guests than the minimum sees "This room is for a minimum of 2 guests. Add a guest or choose another room." and can't continue.

Good to know

Minimum Occupancy can't be more than Maximum Occupancy.
It only applies to private rooms. Shared rooms are booked by the bed.
If the price is for The whole room or villa, a solo guest already pays the full room price.

Common questions

Can I charge solo guests a bit more instead of blocking them?
Not with a separate supplement. Price the room for The whole room or villa, or add a single room at a higher price.
