Bed configuration tells guests how the room sleeps. Get this right — wrong configurations are a top source of arrival-day complaints.
Bed types
- King
— for solo/couple bookings. 2 m × 1.8 m or larger.
- Queen
— couples. 2 m × 1.5 m.
- Double
— couples or single. 1.9 m × 1.4 m.
- Single/Twin
— one person per bed. Common in shared rooms.
- Bunk
— dorm-style shared rooms.
Capacity rules
Max guests = max number of beds the room can hold (not "how many people we can squeeze in").
A king + sofa-bed room sleeps 2 + 1 (3 max).
A twin room with 2 single beds sleeps 2 (sold per bed if shared, per room if private).
Tips
Photograph each bed type so guests see what they're getting.
Don't list "double or twin" without explaining — guests find this confusing.
