Add alt text to a photo
Open the listing editor and go to

Expand the photo you want to describe.
Type the alt text, or press
Regenerate

Save.

Regenerate offers three scored variations built from the listing name, type and location. Pick one, then edit it if you can be more specific.
Duplicates
If the alt text exactly matches another photo on the same listing it is flagged as a duplicate. Give each photo its own description.
What good alt text looks like
Describe what is in the photo: "Yoga deck overlooking the ocean at sunset" beats "yoga photo".
Name the room or activity where it helps.
Write for a reader, not a keyword list.
Imported listings
Room photos brought in through the listing import get alt text automatically, named after the retreat and the room. You can edit it afterwards.
