Managing Your Listings: Creation to Publishing

Every retreat on Finding Retreats starts as a draft and moves through the same short path: you build it, you submit it, and an automated check publishes it or tells you what to fix. This section covers each stage in detail, so you can see which guide to open at which point.

How a listing comes together

You build a listing in your host dashboard under Listings. Your work saves as you go, and nothing is visible to guests until you submit the listing and it passes review. A retreat listing is made of several parts: the introduction and location, the itinerary and what's included, photos and search settings, the booking conditions, and the accommodation guests will stay in.

Accommodations and rooms

Every retreat needs an accommodation linked to it, and the rooms inside that accommodation are what guests actually book and pay for. Accommodations are managed on their own page in your dashboard, separately from the listing, which means one property can serve several retreats. Wellness services and experiences don't use accommodations.

Photos, search and policies

Photos and the SEO section decide how easily guests find your listing and whether they click on it. Your cancellation policy is also required before a listing can be published, and it's the part guests read most closely before they book.

Where to go next

The guides below follow the order you'll usually work in: creating and publishing, accommodations and rooms, cancellation policies and deposits, photos and search, and finally the daily schedule and what's included.
