For retreat hosts. Only the account owner can do this. Menu: Bookings & payouts → Calendar, then iCal in the right-hand column.
Before you start
You need the other site's calendar export link. On Airbnb and Booking.com it's in the calendar or availability settings, often called "Export calendar". It ends in .ics or contains "ical".
An iCal link is a web address that lets one calendar read another's busy dates.
Bring another site's bookings into Finding Retreats
Go to Bookings & payouts → Calendar and press iCal in the right-hand column. Connect calendars opens.
Press Connect another calendar.
Under step 2, Add a calendar from another website:
Calendar name: a name you'll recognise, such as "Airbnb Garden Room".
Calendar address (URL): paste the other site's .ics link.
Room (optional): choose the room this calendar is for. Bookings in it then block that room straight away.
Press Add calendar. It appears in your list with "Never synced" or the time of its last sync.
Send your Finding Retreats bookings to another site
In Connect calendars, scroll to Share your availability.
Each property has a Copy link button. Its link marks dates as reserved only when every room is taken.
To share one room, open One room at a time and press Copy link next to that room.
In the other site, find its "Import calendar" setting and paste the link.
Good to know
We check connected calendars every 15 minutes. Press the refresh button next to a calendar to check it now.
The other site decides how often it reads your link. Many check every few hours, so leave a gap before taking a last-minute booking.
Availability links show dates as Reserved and nothing about your guests.
The link under step 1, Copy this link and add it to your calendar, is your private calendar. It includes guest names and amounts. Use it for your own Google or Apple calendar only. Never paste it into Airbnb or Booking.com.
A calendar without a room shows its bookings as Busy in the Unassigned row. They don't block anything until you put them in a room.
Only private rooms can be linked to a calendar.
Change or disconnect a calendar
Press the pencil (Edit) next to it to change its name, link or room, then press Save changes.
To stop syncing, open it and press Disconnect calendar, then confirm.
To stop all your shared links working, press Make new links (the old ones stop working). You'll need to paste the new links into every site again.
If something goes wrong
"Please enter both a name and URL"
Fill in both fields.
"Please enter a valid URL starting with http:// or https://"
Paste the full link, including https://.
"Pick one of your own private rooms"
Only private rooms can be linked. Choose another room, or leave it as Not tied to a room.
"Failed to add calendar"
Try again. If it keeps happening, check the link opens in your browser.
Bookings from the other site don't appear
