Booking statuses tell you exactly what state a reservation is in. Here's what each means.
Statuses
- Pending
— guest sent a request; awaiting your approval (24-hour window).
- Confirmed
— booking approved (or Instant Book) and payment processed.
- Balance due
— deposit paid, balance scheduled.
- Completed
— guest has checked out.
- Cancelled
— booking cancelled by guest, host or Finding Retreats.
- No-show
— guest didn't arrive and didn't cancel.
What to do per status
Pending → approve or decline within 24 hours.
Confirmed → send pre-arrival message; prepare the room.
Balance due → no action; we charge automatically.
Completed → ask for a review.
No-show → mark in dashboard; refund per policy.
