Managing Your Account Settings and Business Profile

Your account information lives in a few different places depending on what you are updating. Here is where to find each one.

Your personal profile

The Profile page covers you as an individual: your avatar, display name, phone number, location, website, and a short bio. You can change or remove your avatar photo at any time, and any field left blank simply will not show.

Work hours and calendar sync

The Settings page is split into two tabs. Work Hours controls when you are available. iCal Integration is where you connect external calendars: add a calendar by URL, see all connected calendars with their last sync time, refresh or disconnect them individually, and manage OAuth connections for Google and Outlook (Apple push sync is still in development). Keeping this in sync matters if you take bookings outside Finding Retreats too, since it is what prevents double-booking.

Everything else, one click away

The bottom of the Settings page links out to the rest of your account:

Account & Security: password, two-factor authentication, active sessions
Income & Payouts: your bank account and earnings
Business Details: your legal business name and registration information
Notifications: email and push preferences
Appearance: theme and display options

Each of these opens its own page rather than living inside the main Settings screen, so if you are looking for a specific setting and do not see it under Work Hours or iCal Integration, check this list.

Keeping things current

A few habits worth building:

Update your bio and avatar on the Profile page if either changes, since guests see this alongside your listings
Recheck your Business Details whenever your legal name or registration changes, not just when you first set up your account
Reconnect an iCal feed if its last-synced time looks stale, rather than assuming it is still working
