Promoting Your Listing with Social Posts
Writing a fresh caption for every platform takes time. The Social Marketing tool in your host dashboard writes them for you from your listing's details, sized for each platform, and you copy the ones you like. Nothing is posted on your behalf.
Generate posts
Open Social Marketing in your host dashboard. The first page shows Your Published Listings, so pick the one you want to promote. On the next page you choose the platforms and your Post Settings, then click Generate Posts.
- Platforms: Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn, all selected by default. Each post is written to that platform's character limit.
- Post Type: New Announcement, Feature Highlight, Guest Testimonial, Seasonal Promotion, Last Minute Deal or Early Bird Offer.
- Opening Style: Engaging Question, Key Benefit, Create Urgency, Spark Curiosity, Compelling Stat or Guest Quote.
Review and post
Each generated post has a Copy button. Copy the caption, paste it into the platform, and add your own photo. You post it yourself, so you can edit anything before it goes out. Finding Retreats doesn't connect to your social accounts.
History and analytics
Every post you generate is saved under the History tab, where you can filter by platform and see which ones you've copied. Each post contains a trackable link to your listing, and the Analytics tab counts the clicks: total and unique clicks, clicks by platform, and your top posts. It's a quick way to see which platform and post type are actually sending guests to your listing.

Frequently asked questions
- Does this post to my social accounts automatically?
- No. Social Marketing writes the posts and you copy them into Instagram, Facebook, X or LinkedIn yourself. It doesn't connect to your accounts.
- Which listings can I generate posts for?
- Any published listing you own, whether it's a retreat, a wellness service or an experience. Drafts aren't available until they're published.
- What does the analytics page track?
- Link clicks. Every post carries a trackable link back to your listing, and the Analytics tab shows total and unique clicks, split by platform, plus your top posts. It doesn't show likes or impressions.
- Can I change a post before I use it?
- Yes. Copy gives you plain text, so edit it however you like when you paste it into the platform. Keep the tracked link in if you want the clicks counted.
