The rate locks at payout time, not at booking time.
Volatility
For bookings made weeks or months ahead, the rate at payout can differ from the rate at booking. Plan for ±2–5% variation.
Tips
For hosts running multi-currency operations, consider opening a payout account in the booking currency to skip conversion entirely.
