Setting Up Your Payout Method

Guests pay by card and Finding Retreats collects the payment through Stripe. You do not need a Stripe account, and your money is not routed through one. Instead you tell Finding Retreats where to send your share: a bank account, a PayPal account or a Wise account.

Adding a payout method

Open your account settings and choose Payments. Under How you get paid, choose Add payout method and pick one of:

• Bank transfer, local or international: enter the account holder name and the bank details that apply to your country, such as account and routing numbers, or IBAN and SWIFT/BIC.
• PayPal: the email address on your PayPal account.
• Wise: the email address on your Wise account.

You can add more than one method and mark one as the default. Payouts go to the default method.

Verifying a bank account

New bank accounts are verified before the first payout. Finding Retreats sends two small micro-deposits to the account within 1 to 2 business days. When they arrive, return to Payments, choose Enter verification amounts on that method, and type the two amounts. The method then shows as Verified. Until then it shows Pending verification and payouts to it wait. PayPal and Wise accounts do not need this step.

When payouts are sent

A payout is scheduled for the day after the retreat starts. Your payout amount is the booking total minus the card processing fee and the Finding Retreats platform fee; the payouts dashboard shows that breakdown for every booking. Bank transfers can take 3 to 5 business days to land after they are sent. Under Your earnings you can also set a minimum payout amount.
