Setting up as a host on Finding Retreats is a short, linear flow — no more than a handful of screens between signing up and having a draft listing you can start filling in.
After you sign up, you land on a welcome screen. If you signed up with Google, your name and photo carry over automatically. If you signed up by email (magic link), you're asked to enter your name here before continuing — that name is used to pre-fill your profile.
From there you move into a short setup flow: add or confirm a profile photo, then accept the vendor terms. Accepting terms is what actually creates your vendor profile behind the scenes, so nothing about your account exists as a host until that step is done.
Next you're asked how you want to add your first retreat: import an existing one from Book Yoga Retreats, or add it manually. Choosing import takes you to a dedicated import screen (covered in its own article in this section); choosing manual takes you straight to naming your business.
Your trading name is what guests see on your listing, and it also generates your permanent listing URL (findingretreats.com/retreats/your-slug). You can adjust the auto-generated URL slug before continuing, but not after — so it's worth getting it right the first time.
With your business name set, you move through the remaining setup steps: accommodation details, team members, and finally your retreat listing itself — dates, activities, pricing, and photos. If you imported from Book Yoga Retreats, the platform already checks whether a listing exists for your account at this point, and if it does, these later screens become a review of what was pulled in rather than a blank form.
Nothing in this flow publishes your listing. There's no "submit for review" button anywhere in the setup wizard itself. Once you reach the end, you land on a short "you're all set up" screen, and from there you go straight to your dashboard, where the listing sits as a draft until you choose to review it and push it live.
