Add EU VAT info

How VAT works for EU-based hosts on Finding Retreats.

EU-based hosts who are VAT-registered should add their VAT number to Finding Retreats. This affects how invoices are issued.

The tax information settings page

Add VAT info

  1. Open Taxes.

  2. Pick

    VAT — EU

    .

  3. Enter your VAT registration number and country.

  4. Confirm whether you charge VAT to guests directly.

  5. Save. We validate the VAT number with VIES within minutes.

If you're not VAT-registered

You don't need to file anything. Finding Retreats handles its own platform-fee VAT.

Invoices

Once your VAT number is on file, payout statements include VAT-compliant invoice details for your accounting.
