Is hosting a retreat right for you?

A self-assessment for new hosts — time, money, space and skills required.

Hosting a retreat is meaningful work — but it's also a real business with real demands. Use this checklist to decide if you're ready.

You're likely ready if

  • You have a clear teaching/healing/coaching practice you want to deliver immersively.

  • You can dedicate a week+ at a stretch to a cohort, several times a year.

  • You have access to a suitable venue (own, lease, partner with one).

  • You can handle communication, logistics, dietary needs and small group dynamics.

  • You have or can build a small support team.

You're likely not ready if

  • You're still developing the core practice itself.

  • Your schedule can't accommodate consecutive days fully on.

  • You can't commit to responding to enquiries within 24 hours.
