If you already have a listing on Book Yoga Retreats, you do not have to rebuild it by hand. Paste the URL during setup, or from the import option in your dashboard, and Finding Retreats pulls in the details, photos, and pricing to create a draft listing for you.
How the import works
Once you submit your Book Yoga Retreats URL, the import moves through a fixed sequence:
Fetching the page itself
Extracting the retreat’s details — dates, activities, property, pricing
Rewriting the listing’s text so it is not flagged as duplicate content
Migrating your images across
Creating your property and rooms
Creating the retreat listing itself
If this exact listing URL was already brought in before, Finding Retreats hands the existing listing to your account instead of creating a duplicate. Running the same import again later updates that same draft rather than creating a second copy.
Why your listing is rewritten, not copied
Copying your Book Yoga Retreats page word for word would leave two near-identical pages live on the internet. Search engines treat that as duplicate content and generally keep showing the older, already-established page instead of your new one.
To avoid that, Finding Retreats rewrites the prose sections of your listing — introduction, highlights, location, property, and food descriptions — into different wording. It does not touch the facts: dates, prices, amenities, room details, and instructor names carry across exactly as they appeared on the source page. A new search title and description are also written for you.
Reviewing what was rewritten
Once your import finishes, open the listing in the editor — a banner explains that some sections were rewritten, and a small “Rewritten for search” tag appears next to each section that was touched. Review those sections and edit anything that does not sound like you before the listing goes live.
